The Topothequers from nine communities in Lower Austria‘s Weinviertel invited residents to a regional Topotheque afternoon in the Meierhof in Gross-Schweinbarth on June 9th. The Topotheques of Auersthal, Bad Pirawarth, Groß-Schweinbarth, Hohenruppersdorf, Klein-Harras, Matzen-Raggenorf, Schönkirchen-Reyersdorf, Spannberg and Prottes were presented in front of the large time travel roll ups that were carried out as part of the LEADER project together with historian Dr. Wolfgang Galler. Over 200 visitors were welcomed from all the communities represented by Topotheques, including many mayors who found their way to Groß-Schweinbarth despite election day. New image material that the guests brought with them could be digitized on the spot and incorporated with the associated information. In the discussions about the images shown, a lot of new, missing details was added. The moments were always pleasing when, with a quick search, those interested could be shown a never-before-seen detail of their own place. A snack station with a charcoal grill was available for catering, so that the lively conversations could continue in a comfortable atmosphere.
