As part of the activities of the Erasmus+ ComPaRe – Complex Participatory Reconstruction of Urban Structures project, the Topotheque is used as a collection medium. In the town of Accumoli in the Italian province of Rieti, which was destroyed by an earthquake in 1996, the pictorial documents are to be collected and made visible together with students and the population in order to make as many construction details as possible available for the reconstruction of the town. The project is led by Prof. Christian Hanus from the Research Lab for Sustainable Building Cultural Heritage at the Danube University Krems (Lower Austria). After the launch and public presentation of the digital project this week, it will be worth watching the digital collection grow over the summer: https://accumoli.topoteka.net/
