A / K: Klein St. Paul: Topotheque online

The market town of Klein St. Paul, which can be traced back to the 11th century, is located in the Görtschitz Valley in Carinthia. In the municipal area is also the twin castle Hornburg, whose castle ruins are still worth seeing. The Topotheque team in Klein St. Paul has now released the first 100 images in order to be able to bring the Topotheque closer to the population. For this purpose, a first cross-section through the history of the community, which is based on the previous chronicle, provides the cornerstones of the digital collection, to which the further private pictures that will soon follow can be added. The metamorphosis of the community center is an interesting architectural phenomenon of the time, which can be seen clearly in these three comparative images: the original mannerist architectural interpretation of a home style was objectified in the technology-oriented 1960s, only to return 30 years later in a simpler form. A notable example of modern building design is the flying roof of the weighbridge, which, contrary to all static perceptions, seems to have escaped gravity to this day.
