The journey to the Kurhotel Flühli was wildly romantic, but today one travels more comfortably.

CH / Lucerne: Flühli Hotel-Topotheque

The Topotheque of the Kurhaus Flühli in the Swiss canton of Lucerne is still at the very beginning of its journey. Topothequer Thomas Krebs takes on the treasures of the hotel archive and provides interesting insights into the history of the house. As early as 1782, there was an inn here, which later became a hotel. This was demolished and replaced by a new building, which opened in 1899. The Topotheque starts with some photos, picture postcards from different eras and correspondence cards. A special highlight is the order book, which provides detailed information about the goods needed at the hotel in the years 1894-1907. For the spa stay in the Swiss Alps, go this way, we wish you a good rest!
