The scaffolding is up, the work is progressing rapidly! In the most northerly part of the Waldviertel, on the border to the Czech Republic, a new Topotheque went online in Reingers. This provides further public access to historical sources in this border region to Southern Bohemia. The village and its cadastral communities Grametten, Hirschenschlag, Illmanns and Leopoldsdorf have already been memorialised with the first pictures – in the truest sense of the word: the field and small monuments found their way into the Topotheque as one of the first collections. But also pictures of associations, church life and various documents have already been processed and entered into the Topotheque by Topothequer Werner Hanko.
