As part of the “Transformator” project, the Ritterburg – one of Eisenkappel’s oldest buildings – was given a new lease of life, and the Topothek had the opportunity, as a pilot partner, to present its exhibition “Gasthauskultur einst” (Inn Culture of Yesteryear). With a large turnout, many interested visitors and a wonderful atmosphere, the Ritterburg became a place for exchange, encounters and remembrance.
Over beer, Spezi and fresh pretzels from the Reinwald bakery in Eisenkappel, numerous conversations took place, memories were shared and many new stories and tips were gathered. Particularly heartening were the many moments when visitors said: “I actually have something at home that I could give you.”
In this way, the Topothek Eisenkappel-Vellach / Železna Kapla-Bela and the work behind it were once again brought closer to many people. The “Exhibition in the Blue Vault” can be viewed until 21 June.
