The Topotheque, the Kulturverbund Region Melk and the BHW Schallaburg are once again inviting people to attend Topothequers Day. The approximately 300 Topotheques in Lower Austria are already an integral part of regional and local history research. Thanks to the many local residents who volunteer their time and the commitment of the local authorities, the Topotheques make key sources of contemporary history available and searchable online.
In the afternoon, a workshop for Topotheque curators will take place at Schallaburg Castle. The aim is to expand and deepen the services offered by the Topotheques. In addition, new insights into the development of the Topotheque and tips for the work will be shared.
