For the 29th time, Museumsmanagement Niederösterreich organised the “Lower Austrian Museum Day”. This year, it took place on 15 March at Katzelsdorf Castle. Over a hundred visitors arrived at Katzelsdorf Castle from 8.30 am.
This year’s theme was a particularly exciting one: “AI meets everyday museum life. Strategies for practice.” Representatives from various institutions provided concrete insights into their everyday museum work with regard to the use of AI. Right at the heart of it all – and not just there for the occasion – was the Topothek team: led by Alexander Schatek, supported by Markus Fürst and Benedikt Schatek. A most cordial meeting with Katzelsdorf’s “Chief Topothecarian” and former mayor, Hannelore Handler-Woltran, was a must. Naturally, Mayor Michael Nistl, as the host, remained highly engaged until the very end of the event.
Impressions and summaries of the presentations are available to download on the Lower Austrian Museum Management website.
