A/NOE: Blindenmarkt: Topotheque presents its videos

Overwhelming interest in the Topotheque presentation on 23 April 2025 with a focus on film. At this year’s Topotheque presentation, culture officer Martina Gaind and the Blindenmarkt Topothequers welcomed over 150 guests to the foyer of the Ybbsfeldhalle.

Topothequer Franz Wögerer presented numerous films about life in Blindenmarkt in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s, which were filmed by amateur filmmaker, chronicler and local historian Alois Ebner from Krahof. To everyone’s delight, Mr Alois Ebner was present as guest of honour and watched his historical films, which were presented on 3 screens simultaneously, with great interest. Between the individual films, the Topothequers Christine Müllner-Sachslehner and Robert Kloibmüller explained the basic usage and search functions of the Topotheque in order to obtain a targeted selection from the more than 8,000 files already available.

Once again it becomes clear how many interesting details can be contained in film documents – from clothing, language, furnishings and customs of the respective period – have fun clicking in!
