On the initiative of the BHW Lunz am See, a photo presentation ‘from times gone by in Lunz’ took place on 21 February in the Haus der Wildnis, Kirchenplatz 5, 3293 Lunz am See. The Lunz Topotheque now contains over four thousand images, videos and documents as digital witnesses to the life of the municipality. Numerous guests were amazed and joined in the discussion when the question arose: ‘Who knows these people, or where was this taken?’.
At the same time, some people brought back old photos, which will be shown again at the next presentation, which will take place in autumn. The given time could not be kept, so great was the interest. However, only a fraction of the more than 4,000 stored images were shown. The categorisation into subject areas and sub-groups proved very successful.
