A / NOE: Wetzelsdorf: Topotheque online

Just in time for Christmas Eve the Topotheque of Wetzelsdorf in Lower Austria‘s Weinviertel has been opened. The place is a cadastral community of Poysdorf and was first mentioned around 1140 as Wecilstorf. The parish church and the Grosse Kellergasse are striking places whose development can already be followed in the Topotheque. Worth seeing photographs from times gone by, such as the 1956 grape harvest and the freezing Wetzelsdorf theater group, enrich the Topotheque. In the warm season, people went to the fair dressed up and fashion dictated the pattern of the clothes, which were probably self-made. Polkadot was popular – or even mandatory? The Topothequers Richard Hitter and Franz Pokorny look forward to your visit. Maybe you will discover one or two memories in pictures or can even contribute something to the mosaic of Wetzelsdorf‘s history.
