Every year the activities of the Upper Austrian communities are presented at the Ortsbildmesse (townscape fair), which is always held in a different municipalities. It is a compilation of future-oriented projects that is accepted by private visitors as well as by the exhibitors themselves, who draw inspiration for their project planning from the activities at the neighboring stands. In addition, many state organizations offer direct contact options for municipal projects at their stands. This year the townscape fair took place in the cozy community of Eitzing in the district of Ried im Innkreis. The Topotheque was displayd at the stands of Hochburg-Ach, Lambach, Münzbach and St. Marienkirchen an der Polsenz. They also presented their own information material and numerous discussions were held with interested parties who wanted to find out about setting up a Topotheque in their own community. That the Topotheque can quickly become a topic of conversation where people like to remember – in the pub – there are now also Topotheque beer mats in Lambach!
