One of the oldest cities in Austria has started its Topotheque! Eferding, which has had city rights since 1222, now allows a historical review of the era of photography. Some entries even go back a little further and thus give an impression of the historical depth, such as a building age plan from 1963. With an initial mixture of photos, texts and drawings on building tradition, local development, trade – a look into a car workshop around the year 1960 anyone? – and the people of Eferding have created a grid into which other historical sources can be easily inserted in order to illuminate as many aspects of the town‘s history as possible.
