To mark its 50th anniversary, the University of Maribor has created a digital journey through its rich history in a topotheque. From its beginnings in 1975 to its current international achievements, selected photos are displayed that bear witness to the university’s development, innovations and mission.
The year 1975 marked the beginning of a new era for Maribor. With the signing of the self-government agreement and the ceremonial proclamation, the second Slovenian university was founded. This moment united various higher education institutions and created a solid foundation for future development.
