In the Spittal an der Drau district, in the Mölltal valley, the Mühldorf municipality‘s Topotheque has gone online. The mystically named mountains, such as Reisseck and Kreuzeck, frame the village and are also the basis for the Mölltal power plants, whose construction and early operating periods are documented in numerous images for those interested in technology. Particularly early photographs offer insights into the local agricultural tradition. For example, there is a group photo from 1912 of the Mühldorf alpine pasture, which is a wonderful record of clothing history. One can still determine whether the top worn by the second woman from the right is a printed fabric, a woven pattern, or even a sewn-on second layer of fabric.
