On Thursday, October 23, 2025, the municipality of Neustift-Innermanzing hosted the official opening of the municipal’s Topotheque in the event hall. After a welcome from Mayor Irmgard Schibich and a general explanation of the nature of a Topotheque by Markus Fürst, the dedicated Topotheque team, led by Günter Brodtrager and Gerald Veitsmeier, provided initial insights into the new Topotheque and its functions. Interest was high, the hall was well-filled, and several questions about old photographs in the Topotheque were answered on-site.
The more than one thousand entries already posted online allow for a highly interesting journey through municipal life. The „Topics“ lists are very extensive. Also impressively documented is the creation and development of the Dürer gas station, from its construction in 1961 to its status in the 1990s.
