On the afternoon of 27 June, around 60 topothecaries followed the invitation of BHW Schallaburg to Schallaburg Castle for the annual Topothequers´s Day in Lower Austria.
The meeting offered an entertaining exchange of experiences with valuable tips and tricks from the experts Gerhard Floßmann and Alexander Schatek. Floßmann humorously presented practical examples from his many years of experience as a topothequer. Among other things, Schatek explained the latest findings on the topic of ‘The Nazi era and Topotheques’ from the event organised by the Carinthian Educational Institute in Klagenfurt. The participants took the opportunity to network and exchange experiences. The annual meeting was a complete success and an important step towards promoting digital archiving and preserving our cultural heritage.
