A / NOE Gerersdorf: Topotheque opening

On 8 April, the official opening of the Topotheque took place in the Gerersdorf community hall in front of more than one hundred interested visitors. The extensive preparatory work such as viewing, digitising and indexing photos, videos and documents by the volunteer Topotheque team was presented to the public. For example, you can see a so-called ‘Kladde’ – the name given to a trader’s account book – showing the goods a customer took from the shop in 1896 to pay for them later. The currency at that time was the crown. It is just as interesting to see how elegantly dressed these three gentlemen were when they travelled on their bikes to visit relatives in the 1920s. And who remembers the ÖROP petrol stations of the 1960s? A successful journey through many eras of community life up to the present day – click through!
