A / Bgld: Mogersdorf: Topotheque opening

The municipality of Mogersdorf in Burgenland has recently opened it´s Topotheque, a collection of local history and documents. The Topotheque already contains over a thousand documents, photos, and other items related to the history of the area. This includes materials that provide insight into the battle of 1664 and two videos from the 1950s showing the clothing and leisure activities of children on a Sunday. The Topotheque is also seeking additional photos or reports that can contribute to the documentation of war damage from World War II.

The opening event was attended by the President of the Mogersdorf Castle Association and the Mayor, who emphasized the importance of preserving and sharing local history. The Topotheque aims to engage the community and create a platform for historical research and exploration.
