November 5, 2021, 12:00 – 16:00 FI | Webinar: Local heritage work with Topotheque

Under the title “Topotheque as an instrument for local heritage work” Memory of Ylöjärvi (Topotheque of Ylöjärvi, Finland) hosts a webinar online on November 5, 2021 from 13 to 17 PM (GMT) – 12:00 to 16:00 MESZ.

It is mostly aimed at the digital local archives in Finland to exchange experiences while maintaining a Topotheque and to create a tighter network. Themes of the presentations include copyright issues within topotheques and the possibilities of Time Machine project.

Speakers include Alexander Schatek (ICARUS – International Centre for Archival Research), Tomi Ahoranta (National Archives of Finland), Vuokko Joki (Finnish Local Heritage Federation) as well as some Finnish Topotheque teams presenting their archives. The event will be mostly in Finnish.
